Gregory Martin Daniels was born on June 13, 1964 in New York City, New York. He’s an American television comedy director, writer, and producer.
Daniels went to Phillips Exeter Academy, and he completed his studies at Harvard University in 1984.
As soon as he graduated, he started working at “Not Necessarily the News”. In 1987 he started working in the Saturday Night Live in 1987, and he left in 1990. In 1993 Daniels worked in the animated series “The Simpsons”, remaining in the staff till the 1996. In 1997, Daniels started working on the writing staff of “King of the Hill”, where he created many important characters, and many characterizations ideas. In 2005, Daniels started working in “The Office”, another TV comedy that aired on NBC from 2005 to 2013. And, starting in 2009, Daniels followed another project as co-creator, executive producer, director, and writer of the TV series “Parks and Recreation”. In 2011 Daniels accepted to produce several series for Universal Television. In 2012 Daniels developed the British series “Friday Night Dinner”. In 2013 Daniels worked in the TV movie “Untitled Greg Daniels & Robert Padnick”.
