An ESPN/ABC sportscaster, Jeannine Edwards, started off her career as a jockey and trainer at the Maryland racetrack, after which she was hired by ESPN, in the year 1995. However, she had her first television experience, in the beginning of the year 1993, where she was hired as an in-track host at Laurel Park and Pimlico Race Course. Then, her journey with ESPN started as an analyst of horse racing. In 2000, she became a Sportscenter general reporter. Additionally, she was also reporting for college basketball and football. She continues this tradition, even today, on ESPN/ABC.
