Geoff Marsh

Geoff Marsh was born in the year 1958, in the Northam in Western Australia. He is a coach, a selector and a former cricketer. He was able to play 117 One Day international and 50 Test matches for Australia when he was playing like opening batsman. When he was a coach of Australia, they won 1999 Cricket World Cup that took place in England. Afterwards, he coached Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

According to his biography, Geoff Marsh has been a solid and steady right-handed opening batsman who is able to work like a fielder and he makes the first class debut when he was playing under Western Australia at 19th years old. It was in 1977 and 1978 during a Sheffield Shield season. During the year 1978, he was playing five games in Australia rules football while playing for Fremantle during West Australian National football league and it was before concentrating only at Cricket.

Geoff Marsh had established himself like solid competitor when it comes to domestic front and he was on the fringes of the national team for some years before the time he won Australian Test Team. He made the debut during the year 1985 while playing with India and he was a part in New Zealand Tour. Geoff Marsh has two children who are playing Test Cricket. They are Shaun Marsh who started his test debut while playing with Sri Lanka and Mitchell March who played with Pakistan. His daughter Melissa Marsh is playing basketball under WNBL. His family has achieved a successful level in sports. Even if it is known that he is a married, the name of his wife is not known, the same as his net worth.
