Her first role in a soap opera wasa girl named Reenie Szabo in “Ryan's Hope”. Due to her phenomenal performance, she got a chance to play the role of Brooke English in “All My Children”. This role made her extremely popular and famous and her brilliant acting contributed to her success. She was nominated eight times for the Emmy Awards and even won it two times, once in 1990 and the other in 1998 for a brilliant supporting actress. Her fan base increased significantly due to this show.
