Marie Louise Theile is an award-winning and well-recognized television presenter and journalist in Australia. She was born in the year 1966 and she has been a part of Ten News at Five at Brisbane.
Being born and raised-up at Brisbane, Marie did her education at the University of Queensland. She served as a reporter there for The Sun prior migrating to New York where Theile was a part of Elle Magazine. Marie is a responsible mother of 3 children and she happily lives together with her family. After 17 years of service as a newscaster, she took a break and announced her retirement in order to spend more time with her children, husband and family.
Marie has been an active participant in the television media and she has more than 25 years of experience as a newscaster. She has been appearing for ABC and Ten Network. Her ardent efforts and extraordinary presentations gave her chance to get valuable media contacts. She appeared for various events and also hosted many interesting programs and activities. Marie has been a member of the Institute of Modern Art and Save City Hall Committee. In the year 2010, Marie framed the James Streen Initiative, where every managing control and marketing work was under her control. Besides this, Marie serves as the Chairman of IMA Board in Australia. IMA – Institute of Modern Art is one of the best and 2nd oldest Contemporary style art space. In the year 2010, Marie got an opportunity to work at the QLD Government for promoting the HEAT Fashion Platform that targeted to bring the national and international fashion market closer. This establishment brought-forth a secured coverage of international fashion market for QLD Fashion both in European and US press. In the year 2008 to 2010, Marie was a part of Great Barrier Reef Foundation where she worked as a media relation and development in-charge.
Besides her journalism career, Marie was keen and interested to participate in many social activities. She has been helping many charities and other non-profit organizations called Karuna, where she has served as an ambassador for more than 15 years time. She was involved in fundraising for those non-profit organizations and charities.
