Patrick Kane is a professional Ice Hockey player. He has played his entire NHL professional career with the Chicago Blackhawks. Kane holds 3 Stanley Cups with this team. He has been named MVP on several occasions and seems to have won every possible medal and trophy available on the hockey world. Patrick Timothy Kane II also known as Patrick Kate Jr. was born to be a professional Ice Hockey player in November 19, 1988. His parents are Patrick and Donna Kane, and he is the big brother of 3 sisters: Erica, Jessica, and Jacqueline Kane. On several occasions he has been in trouble, having misdemeanor charges for his violent behavior and robbery. He began playing junior hockey when he was just 14 years old with the USA Bobcats. Back on those days he was one of the top players and was named MVP. Later on he played for the Honeybaked AAA hockey club for 3 years in Detroit which is part of the Midwest Elite Hockey League.

Patrick Kane began his professional career with the Chicago Blackhawks when he was just 19 years old. He has become the team’s brand today, only stopping in 2015’s season when an injury had him go into a surgery procedure, returning right at the start of 2015 playoffs, to help his team get the Stanley Cup.

Achievements and Awards

The list is long on Kane’s awards since he started playing hockey. Patrick Kane’s name was first drafted by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau, chosen first by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2007. This same year he was recognized as OHL All-Rookie Team, First All-Star Team, Rookie of the Year, and was part of the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships All-Star Team.

He has won the Calder Memorial Trophy, a silver medal on 2010’s Winter Olympics and the Stanley Cup 3 times (2010, 2013 and 2015). He won the Conn Smythe Trophy and was named playoff MVP in 2013.

He has also been on countless years’ part of the NHL All-Star Team. Other trophies and awards include: the Art Ross Trophy, the Ted Lindsay Award and the Hart Memorial Trophy.

He was elected in 2015 the Central Division captain of the 61st National Hockey League All-Star Game and has been named several times the Star of the Week and the Month.

It just seems that he collects awards and trophies so easy that it is not surprising that Kane now rates 10th on the highest paid NHL players list. His last contract was for 8 more years with the Blackhawks, in exchange of 84 million dollars. His net worth is now valued in 31.5 million dollars, and this will surely rise if he keeps on his way to the top.
