Personal life

He was born in Kentucky. His father is Bill Ramsey, an orthopedic surgeon and his mother Linda is a sculptor and painter. He has two brothers, Warren and Williams. His brothers did not take his path into the acting business. He first took interest in acting when he was twelve years old. He enrolled himself in a three-week program in Walden Theatre in the same year and ended up spending seven whole years learning and mastering his skills. He worked on many plays produced by the theatre. In 1996, he attended Juilliard School where he took up Fine Arts degree and graduated in 2000.

He used to live along with other actors like Charles Borland, Rod Hill, Darren Pettie and others. He is currently living in Los Angeles and is pursuing his acting career. He enjoys tennis, guitar and working on his car, when he is free.

Wes is not very open when it comes to sharing about his romantic life. In his biography, the most secretive part would be his romantic relationship. His current girlfriend is Bethany Joy Lenz. Bethany has a daughter from her previous relationship. Both of them are seen together a lot in public. Neither Bethany nor Wes has ever explained about their relationship. Both have not expressed their relationship in public, in any interview. Wes is not known to have been married before and also had not been in a romantic relationship that is known to public.

His previous girlfriends were not known to media. He has kept most of his romantic life to himself. As of now, he is living alone in his house. He has been in a relationship with Bethany for almost five years. Wes is never known to have dated anyone this long. There are no news or rumors about marriage or any signs of problems in their relationship. Thus, their bond is considered to be very strong with no signs of any marriage bells in the near future. Wes does not have any children as of now.

Career

His first TV debut came in 2000. He was casted for Guiding Light in the role of Sam Spence. This role brought him more fame and popularity. Three years later, he starred in Latter days, an independent film. This brought him many more roles. His is also famous for his recurring roles as Wyatt Halliwell of Charmed.

He also starred in Gargoyles for Sci Fi channel and also took up a role in Cavatina in 2004. Since then, he has starred in numerous films like Playboy Club, Days of Our Lives, LUIS, The Event, The Mentalist and many others. He is currently working in many projects including top TV series.

Apart from acting, Wes is a dedicated poet. He has been writing poetry for more than 25 years and his first volume of poems were published under the name, Salt and Sand. This volume includes poems that he wrote between 1992 and 2010.
