If you didn't know, Rule Of Engagement is a story about two couple and their single friend dealing with complications of relationships in their life.

Upon being added post season 2 in the CBS sitcom, Adhir's rocking performances in season 3 landed him a main cast status in season 4.

David was someone who Adhir watched while growing up and Timmy was really a tough job as well. Plus, he had to not only drive away attention from strong character Russell (David's character), but also maintain a line of balance in their relationship.

But the things turned out fine for Adhir. Interestingly, their conflicting yet strongly bonded relationship added new dynamics to the show.

For starters, the show has three types of relationships; a competitive married couple, an unlikely engaged couple, and an odd couple with love-hate relationship (Timmy and Russell).

Timmy and Russell are only single character among the main characters. Timmy is Russell's non-sexual assistant who gets ordered by Russell every now and then to accomplish trivial tasks, mainly because Russell is always finding ways to sleep with women.

In this way, Adhir's character Timmy expanded Spade's character Russell area of interests and presented fans with an interesting relationship between a player and his unwilling wingman.

No wonder, Adhir is a rated high as an actor; not for taking easy-peasy roles, but for taking roles that are tough and challenging. He totally likes his fans rating him as an actor, and he has one philosophy he will never break. The philosophy is never to take a role that stereotypes a race or a group of people.

Moving on to his physical configuration, he is not a tall man with the height of 5 feet and 6 inches. However, he is definitely a dashing South African with Indian origin. Nevertheless, he has a fit slender body, short-hair and winsome face.

Talking about his dating life, his relationship status is a complete mystery. So, it will be safe to assume that he is a single man until we have something verifiable.

He then established as a rising star from his breakthrough performance as Raja, a Muslim exchange student experiencing cultural shock in the United States of America,  in the hit CW's comedy series Aliens in America.

South African theatrical actor Adhir was in his 20's when he moved to Britain from South Africa to cash in his acting potential. Interestingly, his mother Santosh Vinita "Sandy" Kalyan is a member of South African Parliament for the Democratic Alliance.
