Adrian was born and brought in Queens, New York by his parents Sylvia Plachy and Elliot Brody. His mother was a photographer by profession, whereas his father was a professor of history. Adrian was raised in a very friendly environment and was highly interested in giving performances in his very childhood. He loved doing magic tricks and did so under the name The Amazing Adrian. Adrian pursued his artistic interests by graduating from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. His parents saw the talent in the boy and enrolled him in acting classes from the very beginning, as a result of which he was seen on Broadway at the age of thirteen.
Brody appeared for the first time in films in the year 1989 with the role of Mel for the movie New York Stories. After this, he was regularly seen in films.
