Alejandro Sanz

Following their separation, Sanz entered a relationship with Puerto Rican fashion designer Raquel Perera, whom he later married. Together, they had two children. In 2007, Sanz went through a difficult period marked by personal loss, including the death of his father, the end of his marriage, and public speculation regarding a child from a previous relationship. He sought professional therapy during this time and emerged with renewed strength and focus.

Over his career, Alejandro Sanz has released fifteen studio albums between 1990 and 2015, many of which have achieved multi-platinum status in Spain, Latin America, and the United States. His 1997 album, Más, is one of his most successful, with over five million copies sold globally.

Sanz is one of the most celebrated Spanish artists, having earned three Grammy Awards and twenty-four Latin Grammy Awards, the most of any Spanish artist to date. He holds the distinction of winning “Album of the Year” at the Latin Grammys three times. His worldwide album sales exceed 25 million copies, and he has completed ten international tours.
