Amber Cochran is best known as the wife of singer, songwriter Brantley Gilbert. Brantley Gilbert is an American country music singer and record producer from Jefferson, Georgia. Amber Cochran is the girl that inspired Brantley Gilbert’s singles “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” “More Than Miles,” and several others. Gilbert and Cochran were married in June of 2015 in a small ceremony near his home. The couple, who share a son, one year old Barret Hardy-Clay Gilbert, have been dating off and on since high school.

Cochran says that it only took thirteen years for the couple to get married and that the secret to marital success is just to keep dating. The couple still lives in Georgia and rarely go out except for awards shows such as the CMA awards. The singer feels that Amber was the one that got away and feels blessed that she is back in his life. In proposing to Amber, Gilbert wrote a song to her dad entitled “Your Little Girl.” The couple originally broke up due to Gilbert’s addiction to opiates and alcohol but after five years clean, Gilbert was ready to try again. The couple plans to live and raise their family in Jefferson, Georgia, where they both grew up and fell in love.
