Brantley Gilbert is an American country music singer and record producer from Jefferson, Georgia. Brantley Gilbert was born on January 20, 1985. When Brantley Gilbert was nineteen, he was in a near-fatal truck accident. Brantley was originally signed to Colt Ford’s label Average Joes Entertainment. He released Modern Day Prodigal Son and Halfway to Heaven under the label. Brantley moved to Nashville as a songwriter signed to Warner Chapell Publishing.

Brantley Gilbert met his first wife at the CMT Music Awards in June of 2012. The couple was married in January of 2013 but split up just seven months later. It was then that Brantley fell back in love with his high school sweetheart, Amber Cochran. Amber Cochran is the girl that inspired Brantley Gilbert’s singles “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” “More Than Miles,” and several others. Gilbert and Cochran were married in June of 2015 in a small ceremony near his home.

The couple shares a son, one year old Barret Hardy-Clay Gilbert. Gilbert is an active Christian; his song “My Faith In You” from the album Just As I Am, speaks to that faith. In 2013, Gilbert participated in an eight-day USO tour that entertained American service members stationed in Italy and Kuwait.
