Amy Shark is known as an ARIA award winning Australian indie pop singer-songwriter and producer from the Gold Coast, Queensland. She is best known for her 2016 single "Adore", which was voted in at number 2 on the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2016.

Amy Louise Billings was brought into the world on May 14, 1986. She is better known by her stage name Amy Shark. Shark was brought up on the Gold Coast and went to Southport State High School all through her adolescent years.

Career

Amy’s debut studio, 'Love Monster' appeared at #1 on the ARIA music chart. She has been dynamic as a musician on YouTube since 2014.

In 2016, Shark won Pop Song of the Year at the Queensland Music Awards for her track "Golden Fleece", and left her hometown to on an across the nation music tour.In July 2016, she put out her single "Adore", with production help from M-Phazes and Cam Bluff. She also did a great cover of Silverchair's "Miss You Love" for the popular program, Like a Version.

Personal Life

After finishing high school, she met Shane Billings, a New Zealand born Gold Coast resident whom she married on May 11, 2013. The couple are current residents of Broadbeach Waters.
