AnnaLynne McCord (born July 16, 1987) is an American actress and model recognized for her portrayals of complex, often vixen-type characters. She gained prominence in 2007 with her role as the scheming Eden Lord on the FX television series Nip/Tuck, followed by her appearance as the spoiled Loren Wakefield on the MyNetworkTV telenovela American Heiress.

In 2008, McCord was cast as Naomi Clark in The CW's teen drama 90210. Initially conceived as a supporting character, Naomi Clark quickly became central to the series, with McCord emerging as one of its leading stars by the end of the first season. Her performance earned her a nomination for a Teen Choice Award and she was honored as the “Superstar of Tomorrow” by Hollywood Life’s Young Hollywood Awards in 2009.

Acknowledgment and Awards

In 2010, McCord received the Breakthrough of the Year Award in the category of "Breakthrough Standout Performance." The growing recognition of her work solidified her status as a rising talent in Hollywood.

Critical Acclaim for Excision

McCord’s performance as a mentally disturbed teenager in the 2012 independent horror film Excision was met with widespread critical acclaim. Her portrayal earned her the Best Actress award at the Málaga International Week of Fantastic Cinema and second place for Best Actress at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards in 2013.

Philanthropy and Advocacy

Outside of her acting career, McCord is active in philanthropic work. Recognized by Look to the Stars as “one of the strongest young female philanthropists standing up in Hollywood,” she supports numerous charitable organizations and social causes.
