Bethany had mostly a home school for her education because she was a sick child during her childhood. She had not got a chance to learn anything until she was in her 5th grade. She joined the Precious High School, Los Banos for her 6th grade. She was a meekly obedient student and a sketch artist. Her teachers recognized her and suggested her to join the art group in the school. After her graduation, she started making her own videos and uploaded on her YouTube channel, Macbarbie07 in 2009. She started with videos on tips and tutorials on healthy lie and bullying which made a sensation among many people.

Currently, MacBarbie07 reached over 7 million subscribers. During 2013, Bethany stated a collaboration with Aeropostale, the popular teen clothing company. In 2014, she launched her own room decor line and perfume with her partners as Forever 21 and JCPenny. Many organizations started to use her haul videos for their marketing. With her haul videos, she was earning around 40,000 per month. Her videos were mainly designed for teenagers.
