Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke was born on September 26, 1972 in El Paso, Texas. He was born as the child of Pat and Melissa O'Rourke. His father was in legislative issues, filling in as a Democratic district chief and judge before changing parties and mounting a fruitless crusade for Congress. His mom worked in a furniture store. O'Rourke's family had moved from Ireland four ages previously, yet the youngster went byby "Beto"— short for Roberto in Mexico.

O'Rourke was shot to political popularity with his 2018 bid for U.S. Senate against Republican occupant Ted Cruz. He livestreamed a 254-district voyage through Texas and his role in the House. Subsequent to taking note of he had recently called Trump a bigot, she inquired as to whether he accepted the president was a racial oppressor. Beto replied, "He is. He has made that very clear. He dehumanized those who do not look and pray like the majority of people here. He said I wish we had more immigrants from Nordic countries because those from Haiti bring AIDS, those from Africa are shithole nations.

Beto O'Rourke married his better half, Amy, in 2005. She is the little girl of rich land investor William "Bill" Sanders. The O'Rourkes have three children named Ulysses, Molly and Henry.
