Bill Maher is an American comedian, television host, and political commentator. He is best known for hosting the long-running HBO political talk show Real Time with Bill Maher, which premiered in 2003. Prior to that, he hosted Politically Incorrect from 1993 to 2002, first on Comedy Central and later on ABC. Maher is recognized for his sharp wit, sarcastic humor, and pointed political satire.
