Modeling Career

Soto has always been very beautiful. In Mexico, she is well known for her looks as they have given her massive popularity. She is a perfect combination of beauty and brains. She is definitely pretty with an edgy look which attracts all eyes on her.

During a pageant beauty show, she represented her native city. In that same year, she became Miss Mexico. She even represented her country in the international contest of beauty called Vina Del Mar in Chile.

Soto has worked for many top brands in her modeling career. Companies like GAP, LensCrafters, Venus Swimwear, Foley's, Yellowbook, Zara, and Budweiser have hired her for their print and television ads. Her range of clients show her versatile she was as a model. She looked good as she was modeling glasses for LensCrafters. She was able to get down the sexy look while looking classy and sophisticated. She is even to model the next door look when she models for companies like Gap. Of course, she does her specialty when she models for companies like Venus Swimwear which allows her to flaunt her beauty. Even brands that don’t seem like they would use models like Budweiser found a way to integrate her into their campaigns. The companies that hired her to model for them were really smart because they tried to diversify their campaigns. They knew that they had a Latino segment in their customer base to target and Soto was a good way to attract them.

She even lent her beauty to music videos. A country musician named Billy Currington hired her to appear in a music video for his song Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right. If she had chosen to, she could have had a long and lengthy career from just appearing in music videos. Her appearance in the video gained so much attention, it won the Sexiest Video of the Year at the Country Music Awards ceremony. Although Soto could have just appeared in music videos for the rest of her life, she felt that she had more to offer. She knew that she was a beautiful woman but she also felt confident that her mind would be valued. She wanted to be more than just a pretty face. She wanted to prove her worth with her words, not just her body.

Film Career

Soto made her debut role in the short movie Tampa Jai Alai in 2007. In that same year, she also got to work on the movie La Vida Blanca. It was also a short film and she was also the co executive producer of the movie. The other executive producer was her then husband Jack Hartnett who also wrote and directed the film. Working on the film together allowed the couple to get close to each other. Sometimes couples dread working in the same industry because of the concept that familiarity breeds contempt. Even if you love each other, seeing each other every day can become tiresome because you lose your sense of self. You start to lose your personal identity as your identity begins to merge with your partner.
