Soto starred in her first television soap opera in 2010 called Eva Luna. Her next soap opera was El Talismán in 2012. She also got cast in the television series Porque el Amor Manda from 2012 until 2013. She got another big break as she got cast in another television series called Senora Acero from 2014 until 2016.
Soto really enjoyed her soap opera career because it allowed her to flex her dramatic muscles. Mexican soap operas are known for being over the top when compared with their American counterparts. They like to use dramatic music to emphasize scenes when there is something crazy happening on screen. Sometimes Soto would catch herself laughing during filming because of how silly the storylines would get. Fans of the soap operas that she appeared in were big fans of hers because she right in with the stereotypes. Most of the females in the soap operas are very pretty, something that Soto never failed to be.
Stage Career
She appeared in two small theater plays with the first being in 2011. She also worked on the play Obscuro Total from 2013 until 2014.

Soto received the Feature Film Award in 2007 and the Premios Juventud Award in 2011. She also got nominated for three Premios People en Espanol awards in 2011. She again achieved the Premios Juventud award as well as the Premios People en Espanol award in 2013.
Personal Life
Soto was once been married to a man named Bill for a few months. Unfortunately, he died of cancer in 2004. She again got hitched but this time to an American actor named Jack Harnett. They got divorced in November 2011. She announced the divorce on her twitter account. She is always connected to her fans through her Twitter account and didn’t feel uncomfortable about sharing the news of the divorce on the public platform.
