Brandon Crawford is the professional baseball shortstop and he played under San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball or MLB. He was a sixth player of MLB history who hit the grand slam in the first Major League game and he was first postseason game who played for the College Baseball of University of California in Los Angeles and he was named two times the Most Valuable Player of MVP.

From his biography, Brandon Crawford was born in the city of San Francisco Bay Area and he grew up in the city of Pleasanton. He was born at the city of Mountain View and his family lived in Menlo Park before they decided to move to live in Pleasanton when he was at the elementary school. He grow up as the fan of the Giants and the family bought season tickets for the commemorative brick for Willie Mays Plaza found at the outside of the AT&T Park when ballpark opened around 2000. He attended the Foothill High School in the Pleasanton and he was three sports athlete who was in baseball, basketball and football.

Brandon Crawford had been selected in fourth round for 2008 Major League Baseball Draft and he was the 117th overall. He joined the Giants. Crawford started the full season when he was the professional in Class-A advanced San Jose Giants in the year 2009. In the year 2010, he opened the season for the Double-a and he earned Eastern League for the All-Star nod batting. He was called up for the majors for first time in May 2011 and this was following the injuries of the people like Darren Ford, Mike Fontenot and Buster Posey. He made the debut for the MLB in May 27 against Milwaukee Brewers. The first big league hit came in the third at the bat of the game and it was called Grand Slam off Shaun Marcum of Brewers.
