Brandon Tyrone Marshall, born on March 23, 1984, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a former professional American football wide receiver. He spent his early years in Georgia and later moved to Florida, where he completed his high school education at Lake Howell High School in Winter Park. At Lake Howell, Marshall showcased his athletic versatility by excelling not only in football but also in track and field events, particularly the triple jump and high jump. He was named Seminole County's Utility Player of the Year during his senior year.

Marshall later attended the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he continued to play college football, establishing himself as a standout wide receiver for the Knights.

Professional Football Career

Marshall was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He became known for his exceptional catching ability, physical strength, and consistent performance. In 2009, he set an NFL single-game record with 21 receptions. During his career, Marshall played for several teams, including the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, New York Giants, and briefly the Seattle Seahawks.

He joined the Miami Dolphins in 2010 under a high-profile deal worth $47.5 million over four years. While in Miami, he continued to build on his reputation, becoming known for his reliable hands and competitive spirit on the field. Marshall later joined the Chicago Bears in 2012 and played two seasons with them. His next move was to the New York Jets in 2015, signing a four-year contract worth $39.3 million. He finished his playing days with the Jets, Giants, and a short preseason stint with the Seahawks.

Notably, Marshall was the first receiver in NFL history to record at least 10 receptions in four consecutive games and became one of the few players to catch over 100 passes in three consecutive seasons.
