Bryan Ferry

Bryan Ferry is an English songwriter, musician and singer. He is known for his sartorial style and vocals. Ferry was prominent in 1970s when he was a lead vocalist for art rock band: Roxy music. They released one album that had 3 songs that hit number one. They had top ten singles that reached top ten in United Kingdom in 1970s and in 1980s. These songs are Jealous Guy, Street Life and Virginia Plain.  He was doing a solo career when he was still a member of the Roxy Music. He continues his solo career up to now.  The popular songs in his solo career is Don’t Stop the Dance, Slave To Love,  Let’s Stick Together,  Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall.

Even if he is a song writer on his own, he is known to cover other people versions. He had made remade artist’s songs and for re-working of some standards songs like Great American Songbook in the album that it is called These Foolish Things in 1973, Another Time Another Place in 1974 and As Time Goes By in 1999. He was a boy friend to Amanda Lear who was the cover model on the album called For your Pleasure. He got involved with Jerry Hall, who he met while posing for the album called Siren in the Wales.  She put on a blue paint which did not want to come off and Bryan Ferry took her home to try to get rid of the paint and their affair started here.  In 1982, Jerry got married to a London model and socialist Lucy Helmore who was 14 years old younger and she was pregnant of his child.  This marriage ended when Jerry had an affair in 2000s. After the divorce, he was said to be a boyfriend to Katie Turner who was 35 years younger.  She had other girlfriends like Amanda Sheppard and Lady Emily Compton among others. His second marriage to Amanda Sheppard only lasted 2 years. She was 30 years younger.  His son is an ex-boyfriend to Amanda Sheppard.
