She is the daughter of Pandora Anne Delevingne and Charles Hamar Delevingne, a property developer. Delevingne spent her early years growing up in Belgravia, London, one of the most wealthy places in the world. She has two siblings, both older sisters named Chloe and model Poppy Delevingne. She attended Francis Holland School for Girls in London until she turned 16. She then transferred to Bedales School in Hampshire but her dyspraxia has caused her to struggle with schooling.
She revealed she struggled with depression when she was 15 in an interview with Vogue. In 2009, she left school to pursue her career and signed with Storm Model Management.
