Family Life
She was the second child of her parents. Her mother, Jody was previously engaged to a tattoo artist in the late 70’s. She broke off the engagement after he tattooed her face on his arm. Carli’s sister, Amanda is 2 years older than her. Both sisters love each other to bits. Amanda and Carli had wonderful childhoods which were filled up with yearly vacations with their family. Growing up, Carli’s passions involved horses and tending to her family’s horse ranch. Despite the fact that she was allergic to horses, she and her dad would go trail riding on the weekends.
During her high school years, Carli was a cheerleader. She also got her first job on her 16th birthday working at Starbucks. She worked there for 3 years. During the end of her junior year, her parents began fighting drastically. She recalls being pressured by her mom and feeling completely separated from her dad at the time. In high school she was overcome with grief when her parents divorced. Her father abandoned their family and moved to Florida with his new girlfriend. Raising two daughters alone was difficult for her mother was difficult. Her mother decided the best move was to sell their house and move to a small apartment. Amanda and Carli worked and studied together as they grew up with a single mom.
Entry into the Beauty World
At the end her junior year of high school, Carli Bybel discovered a love for beauty and makeup. She started her own business, doing freelance hair and makeup. Her new passion helped her think less about her family issues and the rumors that spread about her at school. As a high school cheerleader at the time, she received quickly received a lot of clients as lots of girls she knew already loved how she did her makeup. After graduating from high school in 2009, she got her first official makeup job, working for a photography studio at a mall. She quit within a few months, as she did not appreciate the way her boss treated her and her co-workers. She went to Brookdale Community College where she got her Associate’s Degree for Business, Marketing, Management and other related support services. She attended college from 2009 to 2012.
