After being lead vocalist of “hey Monday”, a famous rock band, pope embarked solo in the music world. In early 2012, she released the “Cassadee Pope EP”.

Start of her journey:

Still in high school, Cassadee Pope was confident about her voice and also believed that she was destined to become a star in the music industry. With her goals in mind, she started her own band “Blake” with her close friends. Later in the year 2008, she along with her friends founded the pop band “Hey Monday”, and in October of same year released their first album “Hold on Tight”. It was while she was a part of the band, her voice and song gained popularity of millions of people. Songs that she worked on, while in the band, helped her become the lead vocalist later on.

Solo career:

In the year 2012, after leaving the band, in the May of 2012, Cassadee Pope released self-labeled EP, which contained four songs written by her. After getting courage by millions of fans that she had, Cassadee Pope auditioned for the singing competition “The Voice: season 3”. After getting appreciation by all four coaches in the tournament, she joined singer Blake Shelton and his team. Her journey in the competition marked the golden period of her singing career. Her hard work bore fruit in December 2012, when she won the title in “The Voice” finals, becoming the first female to win the competition.

After working on many albums with various record labels, Cassadee Pope’s salary that she earns from her music career is huge. Even though her actual net worth is quite difficult to calculate, but it is estimated around $4 million.

Cassadee Pope has been on several tours as a singer. In the year 2012, she went on “Solo Acoustic Tour”. Playing as a supporting singer, she was also a part of “Live & Loud Tour” (2013), “Sundown Heaven Town Tour” (2014), “Riser Tour” (2014), “Southern Style Tour” (2015) and the recent “I’m Coming over World Tour” in 2016.

Enjoying a glorified life as a famed singer, Cassadee Pope is also credited for her hit songs that include; Original Love, Candles, 11 and more. Her song “Wasting all these tears” was also awarded the CMT Music Award.

Personal life:

Pope’s biography showed her emotional side, and also about her relationship with her parents. She wrote “11” based on her life which was released on her album “frame by frame”. Pope stated that writing the lyrics of the song was the hardest thing that she did, as it always remained her about her parent’s divorce.

Other than her dad, pope found her love of life, Rian Dawson. According to Dawson, he fell for Pope on the day when she won “The Voice”. On that day, he also happened to be in the audience cheering her, and coincidently also celebrating his birthday.

Still trying to pursue her dream on American singing stage, Pope says she does not even get time to think about marriage or children.
