Catherine Shepherd is known as an English actress and writer. She is most famous for her role in Dogface.
Catherine Shepherd was born in 1975 in Hammersmith, London, England. She is the daughter of actor Jack Shepherd, known for his role as Charles Wycliffe in the HTV television series "Wycliffe". Shepherd attended James Allen's Girls' School, where she achieved honors as a senior in ballet.
Catherine Shepherd has co-written several plays that have been performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, including "Cats and Monkeys", which was also turned into a BBC Radio 4 Afternoon Play. Shepherd later got a job writing on the comedy sketch show "Party Piece". She also co-wrote "Your Whole Life", which was performed at the Traverse Theatre and went on to win a Best of the Sunday Lizard award.
Shepherd went on to appear in the films "Paddington" in 2014, "Paddington 2" in 2017, and "Hyperdrive" in 2006.
Shepherd legally married another woman named Brandi Carlile on September 15, 2012, in Boston, Massachusetts. Her wife Carlile later said in an interview, "It was a crazy feeling when I was filling out the paperwork because I felt like I was breaking the law. like somebody was going to come in and say, 'You know you can't have this.' It was so exciting. And [Shepherd's] mom and dad were there, and it was just extraordinary. So we have a marriage license in Massachusetts."
Catherine's wife, Brandi Carlile, is known as an American singer. They met each other while they were both working for the same admirable mission. Shepherd connected with Carlile about giving some memorabilia to Carlile's Fight the Fear activity, which provided self-preservation training for ladies in harsh or vicious circumstances.
Their relationship got off to a rocky start because Shepherd was living in the UK at that point, and the two had no desire at first to see each other face to face. That changed after a behind-the-stage meeting at a show in New York City; Shepherd took over the lake as part of her work during an excursion.
Activism wasn't the main thing the two fortified over. In a 2012 interview with Richmond Magazine, Carlile said that Shepherd was a skilled novice musician. However, she didn't have any professional desires as an artist. Their mutual musical premiums made for some fun at-home jam meetings.
Carlile and Shepherd got engaged in 2012. In a sweet incident, they reported their extensive news not long before the entry of Referendum 74, which sanctioned same-sex marriage in Carlile's home territory of Washington. Carlile clarified that she didn't consider her to be a political proclamation in essence, even though she was vocal about her help for equivalent marriage rights.
Carlile and Shepherd invited their first youngster, Evangeline, in 2014 and a subsequent girl, Elijah, in 2018. Carlile depicts her involvement in parenthood, referencing her oldest girl by name - in "The Mother," a melody on her Grammy Award-winning 2019 studio collection, By the Way, I Forgive You.
