Childhood and Athletic Beginnings

Although not particularly tall as a young child, CC eventually grew to an impressive height of 6 feet 7 inches. From as early as age four, he showed a strong interest in sports—a passion that has remained throughout his life. He often played with neighborhood friends, many of whom remained close to him as he grew older.
