Chadwick Boseman is and American actor, director and producer who recently appeared as the superhero known as Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic universe films Captain America: Civil War (2016), and Black Panther (2018). Black Panther was one of the highest grossing films to hit the theaters in 2018. Chadwick Aaron Boseman was born on November 29, 1977, in Anderson, South Carolina. His father worked at a textile factory and his mother was a nurse. Chadwick attended Howard University in Washington D.C. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in directing. He attended the Oxford Mid-Summer Program of the British American Drama Academy in London and then returned to New York where he graduated from New York City’s Digital Film Academy.

Chadwick is also known for his portrayals of real-life historical figures such as Jackie Robinson, in the film 42 (2013), James Brown, in Get on Up (2014), and Thurgood Marshall, in Marshall (2017). Chadwick Boseman reprised the role of Black Panther in Avengers: Infinity War, which  was released in 2018 and is scheduled to appear in the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame. Chadwick is also known for his roles in television’s Lincoln Heights, Lie to Me, The Glades, and, most recently, Saturday Night Live.
