Born in May 4, 1982, Thompson grew up in Seattle. She studied at the University of California in Santa Barbara. She was an intern at KEYT, which is an ABC affiliate situated in Santa Barbara and also interned at NBC. She lives in Los Angeles now and is reported to be dating Jay Williams, an ESPN analyst.

Profession

Thompson is the NFL sideline reporter at Fox and also covers college football and basketball games for Fox Sports Net and Big Ten Network. She is also seen on the show ‘Friday Night Tailgate’, which airs on Big Ten Network and also the BCS show and BCS Breakdown on FSN. She appeared on the NFL Now Updates on NFL network in the year 2010. She has also worked for Yahoo Sports and Speed Network. In the year 2011, she covered sports news for Versus and joined the reality show on ABC, Splash with co-host actor Joey Laurence in 2013.

Thompson has reported on major sports events including the Vancouver Olympic winter Games, FIFA World Cup, 2010, BCS National Championship in 2011, NBS All Star Game, NHL All-star Game, and many other events. Her sports shows include the Best Damn Sports show Period with Chris Rose and John Salley, Toughest Cowboy on FSN, Big Saturday Night on GSN, Big Tens’ Best on Big Ten Network and the NFL Now Updates on NFL. She was also the ice level reporter for Versus. She has also appeared on programs MLB All Star Game Red carpet Parade and the Baseball Report for FSN.

Thompson has been featured on the cover page of Access DirecTV’s April 2009 issue and has also interviewed Cole Hamels, the Philadelphia Phillies pitcher for the feature story in the magazine. In the year 2009, she was nominated as one of the Playboys’s Sexiest Sportscasters and has made to the top five finalist position. She has reported on the red carpet for films like Lions for Lambs, Love in the Time of Cholera, Juno and also worked at the JazzFest 2008. She has also hosted the American Country Awards alongside Michael Waltrip.
