In a very small age, Chastity was casted in a movie along with her mother who played the role of a bisexual woman. It was the name of the movie that acted as an inspiration and he was named after the movie. Being born to such parents, it was obvious for him to take the same as his profession. He studied Law in the New York University.

At the age of 18, Chaz discovered his inclination for the same gender and started dating women and later he formed a group with his girlfriend. He got a major label deal and was declared as a lesbian by the famous sensation in the year 1990. He further sought the ways to activism in the community of GLBT.

In the year 1995, he worked for the magazine and got associated with the Human Rights Campaign and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

He first came into limelight when he made the news about weight loss. He had recorded weight of somewhere 130 kg and he came to 80 kgs. He first revealed his slim looks in the year 2009, creating a sensational news even for his closed ones. It has been said that he also had to go under some surgeries to remove the extra fat from his body. In an interview he said,“ I really feel very satisfied and comfortable with the way I eat now, which is amazing, and for me, kind of a miracle.” He then rejoined “Dancing with the Stars” in which he previously was a part of.

Chaz then again got the wave of the news towards her when she declared that she was turning into a man and in the year 2010, she physically and legally turned herself into a man. Her journey of transition was recorded in a 16 month period, from the time she started her transition and it was documented in the film named as, “Becoming Chaz”.

Bono has been an author of several books, “Tranition: The Story of How I Became a Man”, “The End of Innocence”, and “Family Outing: A Guide to the Coming Ou Process for Gys, Lesbains and Their Families”. He also has a very short career as a singer and he sang with his band ceremony and featured in the video “Could’ve Been Love”. In 2015 he loose weight and made a sculpting physique.

Chaz recently made the news when he announced that he is engaged with the Courtney Act star Shan Jenek, better known as Drag Queen and planning to get married to her soon. With his fame, he is now able to raise a net worth of $13 million USD.
