American rock musician and occasional actor Christopher Joseph "Chris" Issak, who is best known for his magnetic soft-rock 1990's hit "Wicked Game", was born on June 26, 1956 in Stockton, California to a working class family. His father was a forklift driver and mother was a potato chip factory worker.
A natural born singer, Chris is celebrated for his Rob Orbison falsetto-style voice.
Now moving on to his physical configuration, the Stockton native with dark brown hair and casual quaff hairstyle is a tall man with the height of 6 feet and 1 inch. One of the People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People of 1990, Chris has got attractive looks and nice rangy body. As of 2015, his age is 59.
Talking about his relationship status, he is probably single as of 2015. As we know, he likes to express his feelings via his songs. Just for reference, his album Forever Blue is regarded as one of the greatest break up albums. In fact, he actually wrote songs for the album after he broke up with someone he really loved. Nevertheless, the wedding ring that he bought for the beautiful partner could no longer justify it's existence after the breakup.
Similarly, M.r. Lonely Man was developed by Chris being inspired by his own troubled personal life.
According to Chris (from a 2009 interview), he has dated many types of personalities including bright girls, funny girls, and gorgeous women, but hasn't found the right woman yet since the breakup.
The only right girl he remembers is his deceased high school sweetheart Carol Lowe. Sadly, Carol died of cancer in the year 1999.
“If I had a magic wand and I could go back in time I wouldn’t have been a musician if I could have married my first girlfriend,” he says resignedly. “I’d have done anything for her." - from the 2009 interview with express.co.uk
Personality wise, he is a truthful, straightforward and humorous person.
In the interview, he also admits that his busy professional life may have hampered his love life. Not only that, he also lists the qualities of a good husband he possesses, in the interview.
"I’m willing to clean the lawns, wash the cars, I have a decent salary, I’ve saved my money, I live in a nice neighbourhood, I could provide. I’ll even shut up and listen in a conversation and I don’t watch sports!” There you are ladies, he’s ready and waiting."
An American national of mixed ethnicity ( Catholic Black Sea German father and Italian American mother), Chris grew up in California listening to the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison.
Impressively, the man who has sold 100 million + records and enjoyed numerous gold as well as platinum, has released 12 albums including his 2015's album "First Comes the Night" in his 31 years of musical career. Moreover, he has enjoyed a decent acting and television runs as well.
Currently, he is associated with The X Factor Australia (judge/mentor) and The Chris Isaak Show.

Like many amazing stars, Chris is a source of inspiration for millions of people. He didn't acquired a most polished childhood. However, he evolved slowly from a 12 year kid who wrote songs and followed music as an interest to a national star. And in the process, he along with his band (or solo) played in various clubs, bars and even on streets before being signed by Warner Bros at the age of 28. Plus, the student body president (in his senior year), class president and head of all-male cheer squad in his high school back then, Chris is a communication graduate from University of the Pacific. From what we have heard, he still plays on street when he wants because he loves the feeling and people admiration.
