Chris Plante is a syndicated radio talk show host for Westwood One Network and is based in Washington D.C.; Chris is a frequent guest on both the Fox News channel and Fox Business. Chris Plante worked at CNN for seventeen years as a Pentagon correspondent, covering both the Pentagon and the United States military. At various times, Chris was Senior Producer for National Security Affairs, Military Affairs Producer and an assignment editor, often travelling overseas to places such as Saudia Arabia, Bosnia, Indonesia and Africa.
For his reporting from the Pentagon during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, Chris Plante received the Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio Television Digital News Association. Plante was also awarded the Reed Irvine Award for Excellence in Journalism in 2015. The Chris Plante Show runs from 9 a.m till noon on 105.9 FM WMAL in Washington D.C. and is syndicated nationwide.
