Colette Cassidy Bio and Career

Colette Cassidy is known as a television news reporter and journalist. She also occasionally works as a writer and speaker for public and private events. Colette Cassidy was born in the state of New Jersey but she was actually raised abroad. She grew up in Dublin, Ireland, but she ended up coming back to the United States for her college education. She graduated from Marywood University which is located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Colette Cassidy has worked as the primetime newsbreak anchor for the MSNBC network. She was also an occasional host for MSNBC Live. Before joining MSNBC, she worked as a reporter and weekend anchor for the CBS affiliated station KYW-TV in Philadelphia. She initially joined the station as a writer and producer in 1994.

 Colette Cassidy loves to give back to the community. She is an advocate for raising awareness about the Alzheimer's disease and always participates in fundraisers for the Alzheimer's Association.
