Danielle Fishel was born to Mesa Arizona and she was a daughter to a personal manager while her father was a medical equipment sales executive. Her family is half maltese. The family moved from Arizona to California when she was only three weeks and she got only one brother and graduated from Calabass High School.

She started to act when she was only 10, in the community theater where she played Peter Pan and Wizard of Oz.  In few months, she was doing commercial and voice over. She played for Barbie Girl in Mattel. She played two episodes of Full House and she was a guest star Jennifer.  She had a small role in Harry and Hendersons where she played Jessica.  Her mother became her manager full time.

When she was only 12, she started with her role Topanga Lawrence and the ABC pilot series, Boy Meets World. Even if a role was meant to be short, it became a recurring one.  After few years, she became a regular on the show.  Her character was for an intelligent and sparky  girl who become matured beyond her actual age. The show run for 7 years and it ended in 2000.

She was at the cover of Seventeen and she took with her the young star award of being the best young actress because of her performance in Comedy TV series.  By 1999, she was chosen to be the hottest star who is under 21 by Teen People.

Danielle Fishel is believed to Date her co-star in Boy Meets World, Ben Savage. She said that Ben was never his boyfriend, that the rumor started when they went to a dinner date but after the dinner, they found out that they are better off as family but not as lovers.

When she started to attend California State University, she met Tim Belusko who became her boyfriend and later engaged. The couple eventually married and Tim Belusko officially became her husband.  The marriage was attended by more than 200 guests and Ben Savage was among them.  She also dated Lance Bass for the high school prom.
