While working at Fox News Channel as an anchor, she contributed to reporting major breaking news. She was the first person to report from Ground Zero on September 11 during the terrorist attacks. She appeared became the news anchor for Fox News Live.

Apart from being a famous news reporter, Dari is a trained chef. She underwent cooking training at some of the finest institutions in New York and Paris. As per friends who have been her guest, she is excellent at cooking and can prepare delicious recipes.

She co-authored a dieting and cooking book in 2013, together with Mehmet Oz, which goes by "Quick and Clean Diet."
