Rosanna Scotto was born April 28, 1958 in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in an Italian-American family and is the daughter of organized crime member Anthony Scotto. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in 1980 before moving to a career in television. She is most well known for being a reporter on Good Morning New York which eventually became Good Morning America. She became anchor of Good Day New York in 2008.
She has appeared in movies such as Miracle on 34th Street (1994) and Ghostbusters (2016).
Rosanna is married to a lawyer, Louis Ruggiero, and together they have two children: Louis "L.J." Ruggiero and Jenna Ruggiero. Rosanna spends time helping in the kitchen of the family's restaurant in New York City, Fresco by Scotto.
