<p>Rosanna Scotto was born on April 28, 1958, in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, New York. She was raised in a close-knit Italian-American family and is the daughter of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Scotto">Anthony Scotto</a>, a former <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Scotto">union leader</a> with connections to organized labor. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from The Catholic University of America in 1980 before beginning her career in television journalism.</p>

<h2>Television Career</h2>
<p>Rosanna Scotto is best known for her long-standing presence in New York City broadcast journalism. She initially gained attention as a reporter on <em>Good Morning New York</em>, a program that served as an early iteration of what would evolve into <em>Good Morning America</em>. In 2008, she became the co-anchor of <em>Good Day New York</em> on Fox 5, a position she continues to hold, bringing daily news to millions of viewers across the region.</p>

<p>In addition to her work in journalism, Scotto has made cameo appearances in several films.
