David Palffy was born on the 5th of March in the year 1969. David is a Canadian film as well as a television actor. He has Hungarian-Welsh lineage and has a degree in law. He has studied LLB at the University of Calgary. He later attended the Royal Academy of dramatic art in London. He made some noteworthy appearances as Oberon in the much famous “Midsummer Night Dream”, by Shakespeare. While he was studying in London he lived in a Dutch barge close to the Thames River, up until he got his break “Full Metal Jacket”, by Stanley Kubrick. He was later cast as the lead actor in the Dutch series which receive ample critical appreciation, “De Zomer van 45”. He then worked with the National Theater Company, and then Palffy returned to Vancouver Canada. Next, he went to the Yale town Actors lab, where he taught directing and acting.

Palffy has a number of films to his credit; he has played the role of Goa'uld villains namely Anubis and Sokar in the famous "Stargate SG-1". Palffy had many recurring appearances in many famous television series like "Cold Squad", "Stargate", "The X-Files", "First Wave", "Andromeda", "Blade: The series." He also made and appearance in the role of Castillo in "house of Dead", which was a movie adaptation of a famous video game. Apart from his success as an actor he also worked a very competent interior designer in Vancouver Canada, where he worked on refurbishing, redesigning and renovating luxurious homes.
