Debra Wilson is an American actress and comedian who was born on April 26, 1962, in South Ozone Park, Queens, New York. The American actress also goes by the names "Debra Wilson Skelton" or "Debra Skelton". Wilson is best known as one of the original cast members on the comedy sketch series "Mad TV". She spent her early years growing up in New York City in the Ozone Park neighborhood of Queens where she attended the New York City High School of the Performing Arts.

She went on to continue her education at Syracuse University where she studied television and radio broadcasting. Her acting career began when she appeared in the pilot episode of the television show "The Apollo Comedy Hour". She went to become a regular on the hit series "The Uptown Comedy Club". Wilson married Cliff Skelton, an American writer, and director in April 2006 but they separated in 2010 after the marriage failed.
