Andrew John Lachey is a singer and actor from the United States. He is best known for being a member of the boy band 98 Degrees, as the winner of the second season of Dancing with the Stars, and as the younger brother of Nick Lachey. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Drew Lachey is a well-known American singer and actor. He is known initially as Andrew John Drew Lachey, and he was born on August 8, 1976, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the only brother of Nick Lachey, who is also a famous personality. From his early years, he used to prefer music overstudies. He was also suspended for not paying any attention in class and not performing well in examinations.

When he was in high school, he used to skip his classes to attend music band rehearsals. However, he completed his graduation from the university to pursue further education in music. He began his musical career, which changed his life forever. He started taking music lessons and made appearances in some musical concerts. His appearances fetched him much fame, which further helped him professionally.

After doing some music concerts and shows, he became a member of the musical band named 98 Degrees. His performance and other group members helped the band gain popularity quickly. The band also made several appearances where they have always received the support of their followers.

It was a group that included Nick Lachey's brother Nick Lachey, as well as the other members of the pop group 98 Degrees (which included Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons), all of whom were members of the band. Nick Lachey has made a number of guest appearances on television shows since the joining 98 Degrees, including Hollywood Squares in 2001, Rent on Broadway from January 3 to March 21, 2005, and his own MTV show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica in 2005. Lachey made his Broadway debut in the production of Monty Python's Spamalot in June 2008, playing Patsy, the devoted manservant of King Arthur. Lachey is a member of the Monty Python comedy troupe. He was only on the show for a total of three months before leaving.

The singer-songwriter appeared on the second season of Dancing with the Stars as a celebrity dancer, dancing with professional dance partner Cheryl Burke. As part of the sixth week of competition (which was broadcasted in February 2006), Lachey and Burke danced the tango to perfection, earning a perfect score of 30. It was the eighth and final week of competition when they received a score of 30 on each of their two dances, the Paso Doble and freestyle, earning them the highest overall score for the week. They were crowned Dancing with the Stars champions on February 26, 2006, in front of a live audience.

Miss USA 2006 was co-hosted by Lachey and Access Hollywood star Nancy O'Dell, who was also in attendance. This year's pageant, which took place in Baltimore, Maryland, was broadcast live on NBC on April 21, 2006.

Drew toured both Canada and the United States as part of the Dancing with the Stars Tour, which took place between December 2006 and February 2007. On April 17, 2007, results show, Lachey made a surprise appearance to perform his "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)" freestyle dance with Cheryl Burke, which had previously been achieved with her. He co-hosted the first three weeks of the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars, filling in for Samantha Harris, who was absent due to maternity leave during that time. The reality show HGTV's spring 2009 series, in which five neighboring families competed for the chance to win $250,000 to pay off their mortgage by completing home-improvement challenges, also featured Lachey as a presenter.
