Edith Ann "E.D." Hill was born on July 27, 1962. She earned her degree in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, where she also focused on video journalism.
Hill began her media career as a video jockey (VJ) for VH1, a position she held for nearly a year before transitioning into news broadcasting. Her journalism career took a significant step forward when she joined WHDH-TV, an NBC affiliate in Boston. Her excellence in reporting was recognized with an Emmy Award for Outstanding News Special for her work during 1990–1991 at the station.
In 1998, E.D. Hill joined Fox News Channel. She became widely recognized as a co-anchor of the network’s morning show, Fox & Friends, a role she held for eight years until 2006. Her journalism style and on-screen presence contributed to the show's popularity during her tenure.
