Andy Cohen is an American reality television producer, radio host, and New York Times best-selling author who was born on June 2, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri to Evelyn and Lou Cohen. He grew up in a Jewish family and attended Clayton High School where he graduated in 1986. When he was a boy, he attended Camp Nebagamon for Boys in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin. He went on to attend Boston University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism. Cohen's career started as an intern at CBS News where he spent 10 years until finally working up to the role of senior producer of "The Early Show". Cohen was also a producer for "48 Hours" and "CBS: This Morning". In 2000, Cohen joined the television network Trio. In 2004, he would become the vice president of original programming for Bravo.
Cohen has often appeared on both the "Today Show" and "Morning Joe". He has also co-hosted "Live! With Kelly" as well as "The View". Cohen also has a pop culture channel called "Radio Andy" on SiriusXM Radio. He has also served as Executive Producer on the reality cooking competition television show "Top Chef" which would go on to win an Emmy and a James Beard Award.
