<p>Audrie J. Neenan is an American <a href="/biography/audrie-j-neenan">actress</a> who was born on October 28, 1950, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Neenan became known for her role as madam Ray Parkins in the 1983 action film "Sudden Impact" alongside <a href="/biography/clint-eastwood">Clint Eastwood</a> who also directed the film. Neenan did not limit her career to film, she also appeared on Broadway in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Alfred">William Alfred</a>'s "Curse of an Aching Heart" opposite her <a href="/biography/faye-dunaway">co-star</a> <a href="/biography/faye-dunaway">Faye Dunaway</a>. She is also known for playing judges in the longstanding television series "Law & Order" as well as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" where she played judge Louis Preston.</p>

<p>Neenan has made a name for herself playing strong female characters who are often as intimidating as they are smart such as judges, policewomen. Throughout her career, Neenan has been nominated for many awards including the Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in Principal Role in 1977 for "Domino Courts". She was nominated again in 1981 before finally winning the Joseph Jefferson Award in 1982 for her role in the Travel Light Productions musical "Tintypes" in Chicago, Illinois.</p>
