Charlotte Flair, born Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr on April 5, 1986, in Charlotte, North Carolina, is an American professional wrestler, author, and actress. She is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, whose legendary wrestling career spanned nearly four decades and earned him recognition as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Charlotte made her first appearance in professional wrestling at the age of thirteen, accompanying her father during a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) segment.
After graduating from Providence High School, Charlotte attended Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, where she was a member of the volleyball team. She later transferred to North Carolina State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations.
Charlotte Flair is currently signed to WWE, where she has become one of the most prominent female wrestlers in the organization’s history. Following the book's publication, Johnson filed a lawsuit against Charlotte, Ric Flair, and WWE, alleging defamation. The legal matter has since drawn public and media attention, but was eventually dismissed in court.
In 2013, Charlotte married English professional wrestler Thomas Latimer, known by his ring name Bram. That marriage ended in divorce in 2015. Despite these personal challenges, Charlotte has continued to be a strong presence both inside and outside the wrestling ring.
