Claire Forlani was born in the middle of winter on December 17, 1971 in the United Kingdom. She grew up in London, and began her acting education at the Arts Educational School at the age of 11. During her time at the Arts school she also studied dance. This led to her early performances on stage in “The Nutcracker” and “Orpheus in the Underworld”. Claire’s parents came from different backgrounds. Barbara Dickinson was an English woman who had devoted her life to her family. Coming from Italy, Claire’s father was Luigi Forlani, who made his living out of the entertainment business as a music manager. At the age of 19, the Forlani family moved to the United States, choosing San Francisco as their hometown. From there, she began featuring films.

Over the years, Claire Forlani has consolidated herself as a professional actress in Hollywood. Despite being British she has impersonated most of her characters with American accent. She holds 47 credits among movies, TV Series, miniseries and videos.
She also was the associate producer for the TV movie “Memron” in 2004, which is a story, directed by Nancy Hower about a company that declares bankruptcy. After this, their top executives get some time in prison and the former employees try to start over and move on with their lives. She also performs one of the lead roles on this movie playing Vangela Clay.

Her most remarkable participations on TV Shows include “NCIS: Los Angeles”, where she plays Lauren Hunter; the impersonation of Queen Igraine on “Camelot” and “CSI: NY” where she takes the role of Dr. Peyton Driscoll.
Personal Life
Claire Forlain got married with the Scottish actor Dougray Scott in Italy on June 8, 2007. Being Dougray’s second marriage, Claire became her husband’s twin’s stepmother. Eden and Gabriel Trevis Scott, born in 1998 were conceived during Dougray’s previous marriage with Sarah Trevis that ended in 2005.
The couple remained without children for 7 years. On December 27, 2014 this changed when Claire gave birth to a healthy boy they named Milo Thomas Scott.
