Former standout football player Desmond Howard became famous thanks to his unique abilities as a kickoff returner, wide receiver and punt returner. Desmond was born May 15, 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio.
The first mention of him as a rising star appeared after his brilliant games for the St. Joseph High School, where he studied and played as a tailback. During his studies at school, he had 18 touchdowns and 5,392 rushing yards. For that, he in those early years received All-American, All-Ohio honors and varsity letter award.
