Edward Spears, popularly known as Eddy Spears, was born on November 29, 1982, in Chamberlain, South Dakota, United States. He is the son of Pat Spears, a clerk, while his mother was a teacher. Eddy is one of seven siblings, including his brother Michael Spears, who is also an actor.
Standing at 6'1" (1.85 m), Eddy is often recognized in the entertainment industry for his striking appearance. He is a member of the Lower Brulé Sioux Tribe (LBST) of South Dakota. Although not fluent, he speaks some Lakota, the traditional language of his tribe. Eddy is well-versed in the customs and ceremonies of his Native American heritage.
