Jedediah Louisa Bila was born on January 29, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York. From a young age, she was exposed to political discourse amongst her family, who encouraged her to form her own opinions and debate the issues. In 2000, Bila graduated valedictorian from Wagner College, with a bachelor's degree in Spanish. She completed her master's degree in Spanish Literature at Columbia University.
After graduation, Bila toyed with the idea of becoming an actor because her mother ran a performing arts studio. In 2005, she ultimately decided to teach and began teaching in New York.
At the age of eighteen, Bila met her boyfriend, who was a much older and successful man. She got married to Jeremy Scher in 2018. They had their first child a year later in 2019.
Jedediah Bila played a noteworthy role in the world of education, serving as both a knowledgeable mentor for ambitious students, as well as an instructor in many disciplines of knowledge. Bila has worked extensively with children from the age of three until adulthood and performed workshops in the fields of Spanish, public speaking, academic writing, and monologue coaching. She understands the importance of attending to their developmental, educational and practical needs.
Bila’s transition from education to politics came unexpectedly in 2009 when she reviewed talk radio host Mark Levin's book, Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, on her blog. Levin later read the review on air, prompting Fox News’ Sean Hannity to invite her on his television show. In 2011, she appeared as a guest on Hannity and Red Eye, soon expanding her role as a commentator to other networks, including CNBC and MSNBC.
