Jillian Barberie Reynolds was born on September 26, 1966, in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. She is a television personality, presenter, and actress, best known for her work on Fox channels throughout the early 2000s.
Born as Jillian Warry, she was adopted shortly after birth and raised in Burlington, Ontario. Later in life, upon locating her biological parents, she discovered her mother was of Irish descent and her father was Lithuanian; both had emigrated to Canada, married, and eventually raised her along with her two siblings.
Barberie attended Assumption Catholic Secondary School and later graduated from Mohawk College with a diploma in Broadcast Journalism. After college, she launched her broadcasting career, working at outlets such as The Weather Network in Montreal, WSVN in Miami, and KTTV in Los Angeles.
Reynolds gained recognition with appearances on several television shows, including Clueless, Yes, Dear, V.I.P., and MADtv. She also hosted the reality dating show EX-treme Dating. Her prominence increased significantly in 2000 when she became the weather presenter for Fox NFL Sunday, appearing alongside Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, and Curt Menefee. Her raspy voice and relatable, camaraderie-driven on-camera presence resonated with viewers, especially within the male-dominated sports demographic. This role led to her appearing in ad campaigns for Prestone antifreeze, which aired during NFL game broadcasts.
In addition to Fox NFL Sunday, Reynolds worked on Good Day L.A. and also co-hosted the nationally syndicated version, Good Day Live, until her departure in June 2004.
Reynolds expanded her media profile through roles as both a weather anchor and entertainment correspondent for Fox Sports. She notably covered Super Bowl events in 2002, 2005, and 2008. In 2005, she co-hosted Fox’s New Year’s Eve special alongside Regis Philbin. That same year, she was featured twice in Maxim magazine.
In 2006, Reynolds competed on the Fox reality series Skating with Celebrities, where she partnered with professional skater John Zimmerman. Their performance earned them second place. Having had some prior experience with ice skating as a child, she brought foundational skills to the competition. Later that year, in November 2006, she began co-hosting That's So Hollywood on KTTV with Mark Thompson.
Barberie is a committed advocate for animal welfare and has adopted several pets of her own. She has expressed that her compassion towards animals is likely influenced by her adoptive upbringing.
She was first married to Bret Barberie, a former Major League Baseball player, before divorcing in 2002. On July 8, 2006, she married Grant Reynolds, a former Marine sniper turned actor. After their marriage, she began using the last name Reynolds professionally while continuing to use Barberie in ad campaigns—most notably with Nutrisystem—until 2009, when she fully transitioned to using Reynolds.
In 2007, Reynolds gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Ruby Raven Reynolds, on July 6, as reported on Good Day L.A.
