<p>Justin Hakuta is an American businessman and entrepreneur who was born on October 18, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, in the United States. Hakuta's parents Marilou Cantiller and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Hakuta">Ken Hakuta</a> are of Filipino and Japanese descent and he has two siblings named Aki and Kenzo. He attended Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C., in 2000 before going on to attend Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico in 2002. Hakuta continued his education at Carnegie Mellon University where he obtained his BS in Decision Science. Hakuta also graduated Harvard Business School with an MBA. Hakuta has focused his career on health and started his own organization called YogaStart. He has also worked with various companies including Honest Tea, Patagonia, and Seventh Generation. Hakuta went on to marry <a href="/biography/ali-wong">stand-up comedian</a> <a href="/biography/ali-wong">Ali Wong</a> who is known for her Netflix specials "Baby Cobra" and "Hard Knock Wife".</p>

<p>The pair were wed on November 27, 2014, and went on to have a daughter named Mari who was born on November the following year. Hakuta is now working as Vice President of Product for GoodRx and also as a Product manager at Cargomatic Incorporated. They currently reside in Los Angeles, California and like to spend their free time reading and traveling.</p>
